Job summary

KellyMitchell Group is seeking a Software Development Engineer Mid for a 12-month onsite contract in Irving, TX. You will design and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs, integrating enterprise platforms with third-party systems.

Required: 3+ years building backend services with Node.js/Java/Python, 2+ years AWS experience (S3/IAM/serverless), and SQL/NoSQL data pipelines. Onsite work five days/week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building backend services and APIs using Node.js, Spring/Java, Python, or similar technologies.
• 2+ years of experience building cloud-based solutions using AWS (S3, IAM, serverless).
• 2+ years of experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and data pipelines.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful and event-driven APIs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed and multi-vendor systems.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend integrations between enterprise platforms and third-party vendor systems.
• Develop and support RESTful APIs, event-driven services, and batch/streaming data pipelines.
• Build scalable integrations for marketing tech platforms and enterprise data solutions.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Data Engineering, DevOps, Security, and business teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Translate vendor API documentation and specifications into production-ready services.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while ensuring high-quality code.
• Troubleshoot complex distributed systems to ensure reliable production performance.
