Job summary

BitGo is seeking a Software Engineer for the Trade team to build resilient APIs and services powering digital asset solutions. You will own features from inception to deployment, collaborating across engineering and product management to ensure high quality and scalable outcomes.

The role requires experience with server-side languages (Golang, TS/NodeJS, Java, Python), SQL databases, RESTful APIs, and a strong grasp of testing, CI/CD, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, applied mathematics, or another technical discipline from a top university.
Experience with server-side languages and building financial services systems.
Familiarity with distributed systems and scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

Design and build strong APIs, libraries, and services to power financial services like clearing, settlement, lending, trading, and liquidity
Own features from inception to deployment and customer integration
Expose and document functionality for UI, developers, and internal/external tooling
Collaborate with engineering teams and product managers to ensure clear technical requirements and quality
Provide mentorship through code reviews and sharing best practices
