The work

OpenTrain AI is hiring a Backend AI Coding Task and Verifier Engineer to create programming challenges used to evaluate AI systems. You will design realistic feature requests and bug fixes, then build reliable checks that separate valid solutions from incorrect ones.

The work combines backend engineering, code review, testing, and security-aware judgment. You will use your experience to make evaluation tasks demanding, practical, and fair.

• Create backend coding tasks for feature implementation and bug fixing.
• Build deterministic verifiers that accept correct solutions and reject incorrect ones.
• Review code quality, debugging choices, performance, and automated test coverage.
• Apply knowledge of scalable services, APIs, algorithms, data structures, refactoring, and system bottlenecks.
• Use application security and secure coding judgment when tasks involve vulnerabilities or security scenarios.

What it pays and takes
