Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA is hiring a Back Up Machine Operator for the Weeknight Shift (Sun-Wed, 5:55 PM – 5:55 AM). You will support production lines by supplying packaging materials, moving finished product to the warehouse, and operating barrel filling lines, rod machine and labelers.

Responsibilities include substituting for the Packaging Machine Operator during breaks, maintaining safety, and working with cross‑functional teams.

• Requires working proactively in a cross-functional team with diverse groups of people.
• Works in a safe manner at all times and communicates any safety issues to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

As a Back Up Machine Operator, this candidate will be responsible for supplying production lines with packaging materials, transporting skids of finished product to warehouse, as well as operating barrel filling lines, rod machine and labelers. This position worksSunday-Wednesday5:55 PM – 5:55 AM.

Requirements

• Requires basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Requires knowledge and skills of a barrel filling lines, rod machine and labelers.
• Able to lift a minimum of 80lbs.
• Required forklift license.
• Required to wear non-slip shoes and appropriate personal protective equipment.
