Hours: Minimum 10 hours per week, with additional hours as needed when filling in for a driver

• Hours vary based on need; must be available Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM.
• Must have flexibility to cover meal delivery routes on short notice.

Pay Rate: $12.23 per hour + $0.70 per mile mileage reimbursement

Meals on Wheels of Rockingham County is seeking a Back-Up Delivery Driver to assist with meal delivery and site operations as needed. This role involves filling in for regular meal drivers on short notice, packaging meals, and assisting with kitchen cleanup at the Meals on Wheels site.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must have a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to lift approximately 25 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, patient demeanor with seniors.
• Must pass a driving and criminal background check.
• $12.23 per hour plus $0.70 per mile mileage reimbursement.
