Job summary

Richards Industrials in Fletcher, NC is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to assemble, test, and document back pressure regulators and subassemblies per engineering specifications. The role ensures products meet quality and performance standards before shipment.

You will support inventory, cross-training, and production processes, collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing, and assist in maintaining accurate records and traceability throughout manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills for entering production and testing data.
• Ability to regularly lift and handle materials weighing up to 75 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and notify Purchasing to maintain uninterrupted production; keep area safe and organized.
• Develop proficiency across production and warehouse functions to provide flexibility; assist with inventory management and receiving.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing to support goals and satisfaction; perform other duties.
• Assemble and test back pressure regulators, subassemblies, and accessories per drawings and specs; perform functional and leak tests.
• Document build information and test results; maintain records for traceability.
• Work with Engineering and Production to communicate test results and support process improvements.
