A leading healthcare provider in Murrieta is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant to support clinical operations across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in dermatology, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage various medical tasks efficiently. • This position requires travel to the following clinic locations: Hemet, Temecula, Murrieta, Corona

• Assists the Office Manager with all aspects of back-office operations.
• Reports potential employer liability issues and patient complaints immediately to the Office Manager.
• Prepares rooms and instruments for daily activities, reviews schedules, and prepares trays for procedures such as biopsies, excisions, shave removals, cryotherapy, and I&D.
• Verifies patient information, rooms patients, and ensures all necessary consents and photos are completed.
• Aids providers during medical and surgical procedures, including patient care and education.
• Prepares patients for tests, obtains signed consent forms, and assists with office-based procedures like biopsies and bandaging.
• Maintains logs, accurately scribes patient information in the EMR system, and administers injections, removes sutures, and assists with procedures.
• Maintains biopsy logs, ensures proper follow-up, and documents biopsy results requiring further care.
• Cleans and sterilizes equipment, maintains sterilization records, and manages inventory and supply orders.
• Verifies all medical orders, participates in ongoing education, and uses Microsoft Office Suite products proficiently.
• Ensures a safe and compliant work environment following CLIA and OSHA regulations, and maintains Lean standards (5S).
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Certification Program with national certification.
• 2 years’ experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting; dermatology experience preferred.
• 1 year experience as a front desk receptionist; dermatology experience preferred.
• BLS and First Aid certifications.
• Certified Dermatology Training (CDT) within 90 days.
• Proficiency with medical equipment, knowledge of medical terminology, EMR, ICD-10, CPT codes, HIPAA regulations.
• Experience in fast-paced clinical scribing for at least 2 years.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, proof of insurance, ability to lift 25-45 pounds, and up to 90% travel as needed.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, attend regularly and punctually, and work effectively with diverse teams.
