Position Overview

This role involves travel to clinics in Yucca Valley, Palm Desert, and Palm Springs. The Medical Assistant will support back-office operations, assist providers during procedures, and ensure smooth clinic workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to specified clinic locations as required
  • Support all aspects of back-office operations, including patient care, procedure preparation, and documentation
  • Assist providers during medical and surgical procedures
  • Maintain accurate logs and records, including EMR documentation and sterilization logs
  • Manage medical supplies and equipment
  • Participate in ongoing education and training
  • Ensure compliance with safety, CLIA, and OSHA regulations
Minimum Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Certification Program with national certification
  • 2 years’ experience in a medical clinic setting, dermatology experience preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certifications
  • Proficiency with EMR systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and medical equipment
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and proof of insurance
  • Ability to lift 25-45 pounds and up to 90% travel readiness
