Job summary

DV Group seeks an experienced software developer to join a small team responsible for back‑office systems supporting traders, risk management and accounting. You will work on real‑time and batch data processing, reporting, and database design in a Linux environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with traders and risk teams, strong English communication, and familiarity with trading data. Prior trading domain knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS, Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of professional experience developing data processing software.
• Proficiency in C++ with Linux environment preferred.
• Experience with SQL and database schema design.
• Python on Linux is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Domain knowledge in trading of futures, options, equities, treasuries and crypto is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers, risk management, accounting and traders to enable real‑time and batch data processing.
• Generate daily reports from overnight data for the firm and traders.
• Design and use database schemas to support data processing workflows.
• Monitor daily jobs to ensure timely dissemination of vital information.
• Ensure the flow of real‑time trade data for accurate intraday position and trade data for risk management and traders.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside other software engineers, risk management, accounting and traders to provide real‑time and batch processing of data.
• Generate daily reports for the firm and traders from overnight data.
• Design and use database schemas to facilitate processing of data.
• Monitor daily jobs to ensure timely dissemination of vital information.
• Ensure the flow of real‑time trade data to provide accurate intraday position and trade data to risk management and traders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, Engineering or other technical discipline.
• 3+ years professional experience developing data processing software.
• Demonstrated ability to program in C++, preferably in a Linux environment.
• Experience with SQL and database schema design.
• Experience with Python on Linux is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in verbal and written English.
• Domain knowledge in trading of futures, options, equities, treasuries and crypto is a plus.
