Job summary

Chick-fil-A is hiring a Back of House Team Member in Michigan for part-time shifts (minimum 15 hours, up to 30 hours). You will prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely while learning from experienced Leaders. Flexible scheduling and a positive, teamwork-driven environment are core to the role.

You will handle multiple kitchen stations, stock inventory, and ensure cleanliness and safety. Training is provided, and you will grow with opportunities in a supportive restaurant family.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely and efficiently to Chick-fil-A standards.
• Know duties of all kitchen stations (fries, breading, assembling, boards, food prep).
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized at all times.
• Stay up-to-date with new products and procedures.
• Report maintenance issues to leadership and work safely with equipment.
• Complete in-house training and changes in policies.
• Perform opening/closing tasks and assist with training new team members.
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code; perform other duties as assigned.

Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
• Keep up‑to‑date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in‑house training and stay up‑to‑date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Assist with training of new team members as needed
• Adhere to Chick‑fil‑A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned
