Job summary

Chick-fil-A in New Jersey is seeking a Back of House Team Member to support kitchen operations in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, food safety, and high-quality service as part of an independent Owner/Operator restaurant.

The position offers full-time and part-time options, with training from experienced Operators and leadership to help you grow professionally while maintaining a fun, customer-centric workplace.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 or older.
• Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work a Friday or Saturday shift each week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards.
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep.
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed.
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times.
• Coach and train new team members.
• Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A.
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership.
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes.
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned.
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times.
• Other duties as assigned
