Job summary

Chick-fil-A in Slidell, LA is seeking Back of House Team Members to prepare, cook, and present food to Chick-fil-A standards. You will support multiple kitchen stations, maintain cleanliness, stock inventory, and learn from experienced Operators and leaders.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and delivering signature Chick-fil-A service every day. Position types include both full-time and part-time opportunities with a focus on providing a positive dining experience while growing

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely and efficiently to Chick-fil-A standards.
• Know assignments for all kitchen stations (fries, breading, assembling, boards, prep).
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed and keep the area organized.
• Maintain a clean, orderly kitchen at all times and report maintenance issues.
• Stay up-to-date with new products and changes announced by Chick-fil-A.
• Complete opening/closing tasks and adhere to dress code and policies.

Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
• Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned
