Job summary

Chick-fil-A Santa Barbara restaurant is hiring a Back of House Team Member. You’ll prepare, cook, assemble, and present food to Chick-fil-A standards while contributing to a fast, friendly dining experience.

This role offers Full-time and Part-time hours, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for growth under an experienced Operator in Santa Barbara. Join a locally owned Chick-fil-A team focused on service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Reliable and consistent performer with a cheerful attitude.

• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Physical ability to lift 25–50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
• Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned
