Chick-fil-A is hiring a Back of House Team Member in Los Angeles. You will support the kitchen team, assemble items quickly and accurately, and ensure guests leave satisfied. No prior experience is required, and full training is provided to help you learn our processes.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on cleanliness, food safety, and teamwork. The role may involve standing for extended periods, and you’ll gain valuable customer service and business skills while growing

Qualifications

• Must obtain Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.

Responsabilités

• Prepare a variety of cold menu items such as salads, wraps, fruit cups, parfaits, and catering trays.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and prep area.
• Stay updated on new products and incorporate them into food preparation.
• Wash and put away kitchen dishes to keep a well-organized workspace.
• Complete assigned tasks to ensure consistent product quality and guest experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leaders.
• Assemble, clean, maintain, and operate kitchen equipment.
• Adhere to portion sizes, health standards, and EcoLab guidelines.

Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of cold menu items, including salads, wraps, fruit cups, parfaits, and catering trays, while maintaining efficiency and safety around kitchen equipment.

• Ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and prep area, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness at all times.

• Stay updated on new products introduced by Chick-fil-A and incorporate them into your food preparation.

• Wash and put away kitchen dishes to maintain a well-organized workspace.

• Complete assigned tasks to ensure consistency in product quality and guest experience, aligning with our brand, culture, and commitment to excellence.

• Communicate effectively with fellow team members and leaders, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Stand for periods of up to 3.5 hours during your shift, demonstrating stamina and dedication to your responsibilities.

• Possess basic math and measurement skills to accurately portion ingredients.

• Maintain a sanitary and safe restaurant environment by performing tasks such as mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, and caring for equipment.

• Comply with portion sizes, quality standards, and health inspection standards, ensuring adherence to EcoLab guidelines.
