Job summary

Chick-fil-A in Williamsburg seeks a Back of House Team Member to support a friendly dining environment. The role reports to an independent Owner/Operator and offers life experience beyond serving a great product.

Responsibilities include food preparation, safe cooking, station knowledge, inventory stocking and maintaining a clean kitchen. This position emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and adherence to Chick-fil-A standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely and efficiently to Chick-fil-A standards.
• Know the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, boards, and prep.
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed and keep the area tidy and clean.
• Stay up-to-date with new products and changes announced by Chick-fil-A.
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues.
• Complete opening or closing tasks and comply with dress code and rules.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver fast, friendly service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Back of House Team Member Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
• Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned
