Job summary

Workstream is looking for a motivated team member for their Applebee’s location in Hermitage, PA. As a Back of House Team Member, you will ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen while supporting a positive team environment. Candidates should have some experience in the casual restaurant industry and be able to perform physical tasks. Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in the Casual Restaurant industry preferred.
• Current food certifications that meet state requirements are preferred.
• Availability to work evenings, holidays, and weekends.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

The Applebee’s BoH Team Member is an energetic team player who understands the essentials of restaurant kitchen maintenance or is willing to learn. Working various shifts, you will clean and manage the kitchen space to ensure a safe, sanitary, and productive work environment for all team members. Being reliable and taking a positive approach to tackling physical tasks, such as dishwashing, is critical.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements)

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in the Casual Restaurant industry preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Current food certifications that meet state requirements are preferred.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Familiarity with a POS system and ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
