Job summary

Chick-fil-A in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Back of House Shift Leader to organize and lead the kitchen team, train staff, and ensure food is prepared safely, quickly, and to Chick-fil-A standards.

You will supervise all kitchen stations, stock inventory, keep the area neat and compliant, and collaborate with leaders to implement new products and process changes. A flexible schedule with Sundays closed is offered, plus growth and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

Back of House Shift Leader Responsibilities:

• Organize and efficiently manage and lead the team
• Train and coach team members to efficiently perform their positions
• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick‑fil‑A standards
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
• Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick‑fil‑A
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in‑house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Adhere to Chick‑fil‑A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned
