Job summary

Chick-fil-A Detroit is seeking Back of House Team Members to join an independent Owner/Operator led restaurant. You will help deliver signature Chick-fil-A service and meals in a fast, friendly environment.

As a team member, you’ll prepare and present food safely, learn station duties, keep the kitchen clean, stock inventory, and support leadership with opening or closing tasks. We offer flexible schedules, scholarship opportunities, a fun, growth-driven culture, competitive pay, and advancement

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely and efficiently.
• Know assignments for all kitchen stations.
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed.
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly.
• Stay up-to-date with new Chick-fil-A products.
• Operate safely around kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues.
• Complete opening or closing tasks.
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A dress code.
• Other duties as assigned.

Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
• Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned
