Job summary

Chick-fil-A is seeking a Kitchen Prep Team Member in Poway, CA. No prior experience needed; we provide training to prepare ingredients, maintain quality, and stock the kitchen for service. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have a source of reliable transportation.
• Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and low.
• Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills required.
• Works in hot, noisy and fast paced environment.
• Mobility required during shifts
• Must work well under pressure
• Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently

Responsibilities

• Preparing fresh ingredients according to Chick-fil-A recipes and quality standards.
• Washing, cutting, marinating, and portioning food items for daily operations.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the prep and storage areas.
• Following food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines at all times.
• Stocking and rotating inventory using proper FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
• Assisting the kitchen team with prep tasks to ensure smooth and efficient service during peak hours.
• Working collaboratively with fellow team members to create a positive and productive work environment.
