Job summary

Costa Vida is hiring a Team Member Back of House in Midvale, Utah. This full-time/part-time position offers $13–$14 per hour plus tips and includes roles such as Runner, Flat Top, Char Grill, Dishwasher, Tortilla, and Cold Prep, among others.

Responsibilities include food preparation following Costa Vida standards, cooking safely, packaging and catering support, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen. A Food Handler permit and prior kitchen experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Food Handler permit is required.
• Proven experience as a cook in a high-volume kitchen.
• Ability to follow recipes and measure ingredients accurately.
• Strong time management and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure shift position meets business standards to serve guests.
• Greet guests with a friendly approach.
• Prepare food safely according to Costa Vida standards.
• Follow menu builds and recipes.
• Maintain clean and sanitized workstation.
• Input data into a food safety checklist as needed.
• Assist with packaging and catering orders.
• Learn multiple roles as assigned.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Receive and organize food deliveries.
• Work with team to manage orders.
