New Realm Brewing Company in Greenville is seeking a back-of-house cook to join our fast-paced kitchen under the Executive Chef. You will be responsible for opening duties, prep work, cooking menu items, and ensuring consistency with brand standards.

We value reliability, sanitation, teamwork, and a positive, energetic attitude. Prior back-of-house experience is preferred; ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and able to follow recipes and procedures precisely.
• Able to maintain cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Capable of reading and interpreting cooking instructions and standards.

Responsabilités

• Be timely and dependable.
• Maintain sanitation and health regulations and restaurant requirements.
• Demonstrate knowledge of equipment use and safety.
• Complete opening duties and startup of kitchen line.
• Set up workstation with mise en place, tools and supplies.
• Inspect cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Check production schedule and pars with each station or cook.
• Establish priority items for the day.
• Inform Executive/Sous Chef of requisitioned supplies.
• Transport supplies and stock designated areas.
• Fabricate meat, fish and fowl as needed.
• Inspect line and stations; rectify deficiencies.
• Prepare menu items following recipes and yield guides.
• Maintain proper storage procedures per health department requirements.
• Minimize waste and manage food cost controls.
• Maintain high uniform and personal appearance standards.
• Assist in preserving a safe and secure work environment.
• Meet best practice standards from handbook and training.
