Job summary

ABM Industries in Plainfield, IN seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead janitorial staff for a Friday-Sunday 5pm–5:30am shift. You will supervise, assign tasks, train and ensure high cleanliness standards across the facility.

Compensation is $21 per hour. You’ll manage schedules, inventory, safety compliance, and performance records while coordinating with site leadership to maintain a safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of supervisory experience in janitorial services.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, tools, and safety guidelines.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work independently and lead a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling.
• May require early morning or evening hours.
• Must respond quickly to urgent cleaning or maintenance needs.
