Job summary

VTG in Chantilly, VA (or Herndon, VA) is seeking a Back-End Software Developer to design, build, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure systems.

Ideal candidates have TS/SCI with Polygraph, a CS-related degree, hands-on software delivery experience, and proficiency in Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or Ruby. Familiarity with Spring Boot, .NET, React, Angular, and Django is valued.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a software developer with hands-on delivery of software applications.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or Ruby.
• Strong understanding of OOD, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with Spring Boot (Java), .NET, React, Angular, and Django (Python).
• Familiarity with database systems and SQL; experience designing/optimizing DB schemas.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web development standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.

As a Back-End Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications.
