Job summary

CVS Health’s Omnicare division seeks a Back-End Pharmacy Technician to support order fulfillment in a closed-door pharmacy setting. You will rotate through packaging, staging and receiving workstations, ensuring accuracy of deliveries and proper stock rotation while maintaining regulatory standards for patient safety.

Ideal candidates will have a state-registered technician license, experience in long-term care, and a track record in high‑volume pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law.
• Preferred experience in long-term care environments.
• Experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service settings.

Responsibilities

• Packaging, staging, returns, receiving, narcotics, IV, Compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill, and other pharmacy workstations.
• Receive product deliveries, pull and stage stock, rotate inventory, and coordinate with drivers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Perform physical inventories of medication and ensure regulatory compliance.

Skills

Long-term care experience

Pharmacy or customer service

1+ year pharmacy technician experience

Education

Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
