Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, is hiring a Back-End Pharmacy Technician to support operations in our closed-door pharmacy setting. You will help ensure medication needs and regulatory standards are met for patients, with opportunities to grow in packaging, dispensing and inventory management.

The role requires relevant certification, with 1+ year of experience; LTC or CVS Health experience is a plus. Eligible benefits and a comprehensive package accompany this full-time position.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• One or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Preferred: prior experience in long-term care settings.
• PTCB National Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work in a back-end pharmacy setting focusing on order fulfillment, packaging and dispensing of medication.
• Review delivery orders and bins for accuracy, rotate stock and coordinate activities with drivers.
• Perform physical inventories of medication.
