Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, is hiring a Back-End Pharmacy Technician to support medication fulfillment in a secure, closed-door setting. You will work across packaging, staging, IV compounding, and Omnicell processes to ensure accuracy and timely deliveries.

The role requires 1+ year of pharmacy technician experience, a licensed/registered technician as per state law, and a High School Diploma or GED. Benefits and a collaborative team environment are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Certified/licensed pharmacy technician or as required by state law.
• 1+ year of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent.
• Experience in long-term care industry preferred.
• Experience in pharmacy/retail/medical/customer service preferred.
• PTCB National Certification preferred.
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medication needs and regulatory standards are met.
• Work across multiple pharmacy workstations (Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, IV, Compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill).
• Receive deliveries, stage product, rotate stock and coordinate with drivers for timely deliveries.
• Perform physical inventories of medication.
• Mid day shift with rotating 3rd weekend.
