Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, seeks a Back-End Pharmacy Technician to support our long-term care operations. You will help ensure medication orders meet regulatory standards and work in a closed-door setting focused on accuracy, packaging, and dispensing.

You will rotate through packaging, staging, returns, receiving, narcotics, IV, compounding, and Omnicell cycle fill, with a strong emphasis on inventory control and safe, timely deliveries to patients and facilities.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• One or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
• Prior experience in the long-term care industry (preferred)
• PTCB certification preferred; five or more years of experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Ensure medication needs and regulatory standards are met for patients
• Work in various pharmacy workstations (Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, IV, Compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill)
• Perform physical inventories of medication
