Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, is seeking a Back-End Pharmacy Technician to support its operations. The role focuses on medication packaging, dispensing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in a closed-door setting.

You will work across multiple pharmacy workstations, participate in stock control, and assist with inventory and delivery coordination. A HS diploma or GED is required, with 1+ year of technician experience and state licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician certification/licensure as required by state law.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Preferred: long-term care experience.
• Preferred: PTCB National Certification.
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all medication needs and regulatory standards are met.
• Work in various stations including packaging, staging, returns, receiving, narcotics, IV, compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill, machine packaging.
• Receive deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock, coordinate activities with drivers.
• Perform physical inventories of medication.
