Job summary

Michigan Can Lines, LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician/Machine Operator to support back-end production processes. You will help operate and maintain equipment, monitor workflow, perform quality checks, and assist in preventive maintenance while upholding safety protocols.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in manufacturing, understands production equipment, and can lift up to 50 lbs in a noisy environment with chemicals, following OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of production processes, equipment and machinery
• Basic troubleshooting skills to address equipment issues and minimize downtime
• Knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA regulations
• Ability to work in a team and communicate with multiple departments
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and work around noise, chemicals, and hazards

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating and maintaining back-end production equipment to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure production goals by maintaining material flow in the back-end area.
• Monitor processes and address issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform quality checks and work with QC to meet specifications.
• Operate machinery and perform minor adjustments; support preventive maintenance.
