Job Details

• Position: Back-End Developer, Mid
• Type: Full Time Remote (Must be located within a 20-mile radius of San Antonio, TX)
• Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI (contingent upon contract award)

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise and analytical support for process improvement, studies, and requirements definition.
• Perform analysis, planning, develop requirements documents, build functional models, and develop procedures and architectures.
• Design and develop back-end architectures supporting system capabilities and integrations, including RESTful APIs, database management, and data modeling.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the functional area; Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree can substitute 2 years of experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripting languages, with experience in DevSecOps, microservices, and containers.
• 3+ years of recent experience in back-end web design and development.
• Experience with system testing, relational databases, RESTful APIs, and system integration.
• Experience with architecture frameworks such as Node.js, Django, Angular.
• 3+ years with bug tracking software (Jira) and testing web applications.
• Experience participating in software development projects and developing in cloud environments.
• PostgreSQL or equivalent database certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile TDD and DoD DevSecOps environments.
