Job summary

247Hire is seeking a Back-end Developer to enhance our dynamic team. You will build and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs, largely in cloud environments, collaborating with frontend, QA, and business analysts to deliver cohesive products. Experience with Temporal workflows and Rust is essential.

You will participate in design discussions, contribute to container pipelines, and ensure observability and reliability across services while communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience designing and building backend services for workflow orchestration platforms such as Temporal, including workflow execution, state management, task routing, observability, and operational automation.
• 5+ years’ experience/understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• 5+ years’ experience with Rust as a primary language and one or more of the following: Node, C#, Python + Understanding of SQL and document database development.
• Great communication skills.
• Ability to translate technology requirements to internal stakeholders.
• Experience designing and building backend services for workflow orchestration platforms such as Temporal, including workflow execution, state management, task routing, observability, and operational automation.
• Capable of self-deployments in a well-defined container pipeline.
• Firm understanding of cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding of SQL and document database development

As a Back-end Developer, your role could include building services, REST APIs, and state aware workflows largely in cloud environments. We love collaborating with teammates on new app designs, partnering with front-end developers, Quality Analysts, Business Analysts, and other team members to combine work into a cohesive product, and improving existing services.
