Job summary

Recruito is seeking a backend engineer to design and maintain scalable services and APIs. You will transform product requirements into efficient backend solutions, focusing on performance, reliability, and security.

You will work with frontend teams on API integration, uphold coding standards, and participate in design reviews and sprints. Proficiency in Node.js or Python, and a solid grasp of databases and system design are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js and/or Python.
• Experience with REST APIs and backend architecture.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data modelling.
• Understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of caching, messaging queues, and asynchronous processing is a plus.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
