Job summary

Simera Professional is seeking a Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust back-end services, APIs, and databases in a fast-paced US-based environment.

You will build scalable systems, ensure security, and collaborate with front-end teams to integrate user-facing features while managing data schemas and migrations. A strong grasp of multiple languages and modern databases is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, SWE, or equivalent experience.
• Proven backend experience as a Backend Developer or Software Engineer.
• Proficiency in Node.js/Express, Python, Java, or Ruby on Rails.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and security principles.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
