We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and scale a next-generation enterprise data migration platform that powers seamless data transfers between systems. You’ll play a key role in architecting secure APIs, robust data pipelines, and intelligent transformation workflows—solving real-world challenges in customer onboarding and integration.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, technical depth, and the opportunity to work closely with product, infrastructure, and frontend teams to deliver high-impact features.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and maintain secure, scalable APIs used by platform-specific SDKs
• Build infrastructure for automated data extraction and transformation workflows
• Implement protocol-level networking features, such as traffic inspection and proxy systems
• Design robust systems for authentication, vendor integration, and DevOps tooling
• Develop and manage infrastructure on GCP, AWS, or similar cloud platforms
• Collaborate with product and frontend engineers to improve enterprise customer experiences
• Ensure backward compatibility, API versioning, and system reliability
• Own features end-to-end: from design and development to deployment and maintenance
• Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges before they reach customers
• Languages & Frameworks: TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL
• Infrastructure & Tools: Docker, Postgres, GitHub Actions, Cloud Platforms (GCP/AWS)
• A builder with a strong sense of ownership and attention to security and performance
• Experience designing and scaling backend systems in cloud environments
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, on-site team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and an enterprise-focused mindset
• Experience with developer tooling, data pipelines, or system-level programming is a plus
