This position oversees the Michelin Recommended BACAN kitchen staff who prepare, cook, and garnish meals for hotel guests and patrons. The kitchen supervisor provides leadership and guidance to culinary and stewarding staff, working on hot or cold lines as needed. The role focuses on quality and production to ensure an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, mastering hot and cold food production
  • Inspect presentation quality and expedite lines
  • Work at any culinary station as required
  • Follow recipes and measurement instructions accurately
  • Ensure food quality through tasting and sensory evaluation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas
  • Assist in ordering and inventory management
  • Use visual and manual coordination for handling products and tools
  • Supervise banquet culinary team, ensuring quality and safety standards
  • Check stations for cleanliness and proper food handling before service
  • Contribute to menu creation and testing
  • Possess strong knowledge of cooking techniques and cuisines
  • Supervise team performance, attendance, and conduct
  • Communicate professionally with team members

Qualifications
