ComForCare Home Care in McLean, VA is seeking a reliable Nanny/Sitter to provide direct childcare to families in their homes. You will establish routines, prepare bottles, feed, bathe, dress, and accompany children on outings while engaging in developmentally appropriate activities.

The role requires at least 1 year of childcare experience, a high school diploma or GED, proficiency in English, a valid driver’s license and a safe vehicle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year childcare experience for infants and toddlers.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Nanny/Sitter provides direct observation and childcare to our clients’ families in their home. Duties include everything related to the baby: establishing and maintaining schedules, preparing and sanitizing bottles, feeding, bathing, dressing, changing, taking on outings, engaging in regular stimulation and educational activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• At Least 18 Years of Age
• Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
• Completely Proficient in English (Reading, Writing & Speaking)
• Valid Driver’s License, Safe Driving Record, & Reliable/Insured Vehicle

QUALIFICATIONS

• Childcare Experience (1 Year): Infant and toddler experience, taking care of multiple children
• CPR and First Aid certified
