Job summary

Crunch Fitness - Fitness Growth Capital is seeking a childcare attendant to support members and their children in a gym setting. You will manage registrations, supervise activities, and ensure safety and cleanliness throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include interacting with children, initiating age-appropriate games, and following all gym policies. Must have CPR, prior childcare experience, and relevant certifications as required by law. Flexible schedule options offered.

Qualifications

• Maintain valid Child/Infant CPR as required by local laws.
• Experience working with children.
• Certifications as local/state laws require.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly atmosphere for members and children.
• Register and check out children and parents; watch and care for children to ensure safety.
• Interact with children with activities; initiate games, arts and crafts.
• Bottle-feed babies or assist with eating needs of older children per parental direction.
• Keep children calm and safe at all times.
• Clean and sanitize childcare toys.
• Keep the work area free of hazards; answer childcare phone.
• Communicate information regarding children to parents/guardians; provide toy/educational tool recommendations.
• Know and follow all policies, procedures, and standards; facilitate member requests.
• Know club facilities and services; assist in all projects as delegated by management.
• Reports to Assistant Manager or Assistant General Manager where applicable.
• Follow all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook; subject to change.

• Keep working area free of sharp or harmful objects Answer childcare phone
• Communicate information regarding children to parents/guardians Provide recommendations for toys, educational tools, etc.
• Know, understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards Facilitate member requests or forward to a manager
• Know club facility and services
• Assist in all projects as delegated by club management
• Above position may report to the Assistant Manager or Assistant General Manager where applicable

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift 10 lbs on occasion
• Needs to be able to stand, bend and squat with frequency
