Job summary

ComForCare Home Care - Richmond/Glen Allen is seeking a reliable Nanny/Sitter to provide attentive childcare in clients' homes. You will establish schedules, prepare bottles, feed, bathe, and engage children with age-appropriate activities while ensuring safety and well-being.

The role includes light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation as needed. A valid driver’s license and a proven driving record are required, with a supportive team culture and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Completely proficient in English (Reading, Writing & Speaking)
• Valid Driver’s License, Safe Driving Record, & Reliable/Insured Vehicle
• Childcare experience including infant and toddler care

• Organize creative and educational activities based on their age
• Prepare children’s meals and feed them

POSITION SUMMARY

The Nanny/Sitter provides direct observation and childcare to our clients’ families in their home. Duties include everything related to the baby: establishing and maintaining schedules, preparing and sanitizing bottles, feeding, bathing, dressing, changing, taking on outings, engaging in regular stimulation and educational activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At Least 18 Years of Age
• Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
• Completely Proficient in English (Reading, Writing & Speaking)
• Valid Driver’s License, Safe Driving Record, & Reliable/Insured Vehicle

QUALIFICATIONS

• Childcare Experience (1 Year): Infant and toddler experience, taking care of multiple children
• CPR and First Aid certified
