Job summary

Leading Edge Aviation, Inc. in Bend, Oregon seeks a skilled helicopter maintenance technician to support Bell 407 on USFS/DOI contracts and other utility work.

Candidates must possess an A&P certificate with at least 2 years of experience, including 18 months on helicopters in the last 2 years, 12 months on Bell 407 or factory school, and a current Class C CDL with hazmat. Willingness to travel and long hours during contracts is required.

Qualifications

• A&P certificate with at least 2 years experience, including at least 18 months maintaining helicopters in the last 2 years.
• 12 months experience maintaining Bell 407 or factory school.
• At least 3 months maintaining Bell 407 away from primary base of operations.
• Prior USFS/DOI Mechanic card for Bell 407 preferred.
• Current Class C CDL with hazmat endorsement.
• Willing to travel and work long hours while the helicopter is on contract.
