Albers Aerospace seeks a flight operations candidate to serve as PIC on a modified King Air B300ER for ISR missions in the SOUTHCOM AOR. Deployment rotates 60 days deployed / 60 days not deployed, flying 125 hours per month under US Army endurance regulations.

Essential duties include PIC of ISR platforms, mission planning, briefing, and adherence to FAA and ICAO flight rules. Security clearance and DoD/FAA credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Must have 1500 hours total time with SIC in King Air B300 series.
• Must hold FAA Class II Medical Certificate or DoD equivalent.
• Must possess FAA type certificate for B300 with Garmin G1000NXi avionics.
• Must be able to travel to SOUTHCOM AOR including Caribbean, Central and South America.

Responsibilities

• Act as PIC of modified Beech King Air B300ER for ISR operations.
• Plan and execute flights, debrief, and manage crew resources.
• Adhere to FAA, military and ICAO flight rules and regulations.

Albers Aerospace is seeking a candidate for flight operations to include Second In Command (PIC) responsibilities operating Beech King Air B300ER aircraft in the SOUTHCOM area of responsibility. This job is a deployment position in the SOUTHCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR)(Caribbean, Central and South America) and will require 60 days rotation with 60 days not deployed. You will be expected to operate under United States Government oversight flying 125 hours per month under the US Army 95-1 crew endurance regulations.

Essential Job Functions:

• Act as pilot in command (PIC) of modified King Air B300 for Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations, the avionics package is Garmin G1000NXi.
• Participate in all phases of flight to include planning/briefing, execution, debrief and crew resource management.
• Adhere to specific military, civilian and ICAO flight rules to include compliance with FAA regulations.
• Provides expertise in the operation of the King Air B300ER aircraft. Develop briefing and training materials to support flight operations.
• Plans and performs support of ISR operations.
• Technical knowledge and experience with ISR operations to facilitate their integration safely and efficiently.
• This effort requires collaboration with US Government organizations and the Original Equipment manufacturer.
• Ultimately, technical knowledge and experience to support ISR integration without reducing existing capacity, decreasing safety, negatively impacting current operators, or increasing the risk to airspace users or persons and property on the ground any more than the integration of comparable new and novel technologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Current and qualified with FAA type certificate for the B300 extended range aircraft configured with the Garmin G1000NXi avionics suite.
• Must have at least 1500 hours total time in any aircraft with a SIC type rating in the King Air B300 series aircraft
• Must possess current FAA Class II Medical Certificate or DoD equivalent
• Must have the ability to travel in the SOUTHCOM AOR, Caribbean, central and south America.
• Maintaining a DoD Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• US Government ISR operations experience and trainer /Evaluator Pilot experience
• 1500 hours total time.
• Last flight within 180 days or evidence of recurrent training within 1 year.
