Job summary

Avantor is seeking a B2B Technical Project Manager in South Carolina to lead customer integration projects and drive scalable B2B integration solutions across Avantor and its customers.

You will partner with internal teams and customers to gather requirements, plan implementations, and ensure successful deployment and testing of P2P/O2C integrations, including use of EDI, cXML, XML, and APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in technical project management, B2B integrations, eCommerce, eProcurement, or a related area.
• Experience managing technical integration projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience working with common customer eProcurement platforms such as Ariba Network, JAGGAER, Hubwoo, Coupa, Oracle Supplier Network, Unimarket, Perfect Commerce, ExpenseWatch, ESM or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical liaison between Avantor, customers, and internal teams for B2B integration initiatives.
• Lead customer integration projects from requirements gathering and planning through implementation, testing, deployment, and project closeout.
• Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, technical capabilities, and integration needs.
• Develop, document, and continuously improve standardized B2B integration procedures and implementation practices.
• Analyze current business processes, systems and integration technologies and recommend opportunities for process or system improvements.
• Lead internal and external project teams by establishing project plans, assigning responsibilities, monitoring deliverables, and managing timelines.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential issues and coordinate appropriate resolution or escalation.
• Ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed-upon timelines.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, project teams, technology partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support the development of Avantor's future-state B2B integration strategy, including integrations with external eProcurement and supplier platforms.
• Maintain appropriate project documentation and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
