Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Wet Lab Technician to perform testing in the wet lab, handling a range of chemicals and recording results in software. The role supports process analysis and communicates trends to engineering. A High School Diploma and basic chemistry understanding are required.

Candidates should be able to work up to 9 hours daily, 5 days a week, with weekend flexibility and adhere to safety procedures including PPE and MSDS guidelines.

Scope
  • The Wet Lab Technician performs the testing of products within the wet lab department.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ability to work with wide range of chemicals from all processes
  • Perform titration/analysis on samples
  • Record results in online software
  • Identify trends from analysis and notify engineering if applicable
  • Acquire samples from process tanks
  • Comfortable handling acid and caustic chemistry during analysis process
  • Generate chemical add slips when necessary based on analysis
  • Enter corrective action in software when results of analysis are out of spec
  • Communicates regularly to supervisors and managers, suggests and composes procedural changes, maintains a clean, safe work environment, and communicates safety hazards and issues.
  • Generates, accumulates, and handles hazardous wastes generated in daily operations, as directed by the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager.
  • Involved in the preparation and completion of work on a daily basis
  • Reporting of all accidents, near misses and safety concerns. Perform job duties utilizing the required and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Full participation in safety training and the ability to understand and follow the directions identified in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and all Safety Procedures and Alerts.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
