Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hyundai B-Level Technician to join our service team. As a B-Tech, you will perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Hyundai vehicles, handling moderately complex repairs with efficiency and accuracy. This role is a key step in your progression toward becoming an A-Level Hyundai Technician and requires good problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of Hyundai systems, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems using Hyundai diagnostic tools and service manuals.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs including brake service, suspension, electrical diagnostics, and engine tune-ups.
Identify and resolve diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) with Hyundai GDS and other scanning tools.
Complete accurate repair documentation and communicate effectively with service advisors and customers.
Assist in mentoring C-Level technicians by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to safety protocols.
Keep up-to-date with Hyundai technical bulletins, recalls, and repair procedures.
Participate in Hyundai factory training and certification programs to advance technical skills.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational school training preferred.
Hyundai B-Level certification or equivalent manufacturer certification.
Typically 2–5 years of automotive repair experience, preferably with Hyundai or Kia
Proficient with Hyundai diagnostic software (GDS) and scan tools.
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.
