Job summary

Hyundai Motor America is seeking a capable automotive technician to diagnose and repair most vehicle systems with minimal supervision. The role requires 4–7 years of experience and a High School diploma, with opportunities to advance toward master Hyundai certification.

You will work in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility and join a growing service team that values ambition and drive. Salary is negotiable and full-time employment is offered onsite in Maryland.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 4–7 years of experience in automotive service.
• Ability to diagnose and repair most vehicle systems with limited guidance.
• Willing to pursue Hyundai master certification.

Efficient and effective at on the job learning to applyto new vehicles and technology when concerns arise. Improved diagnostic skills through training & experience,and competent in complex mechanical repairs.

Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment Program

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.
