The J.M. Smucker Company in Edgerton, KS is hiring an OB Distribution Lead for a 100% on-site role. You will operate a forklift, receive and ship products, and ensure FEFO order accuracy while maintaining logs and safety standards.

The position supports the Distribution Supervisor and requires lifting up to 50 pounds and adherence to GMPs. Shift: Tue-Fri 4PM-2:30AM; pay $25.98/hour.

Qualifications

**Your Opportunity as an OB Distribution Lead** Must be able to communicate and work effectively in a team environment. Must be able to follow instructions (written & verbal), safely and accurately complete assigned duties and maintain all company standards. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, receiving materials and products, and picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and/or shipping products using forklift and pallet jack. Maintain receiving/shipping logs and ensure sure that incoming and outgoing products and material are in good condition. Move materials to the production area using the FEFO standard. Assist the distribution supervisor in ensuring labor is on task, and all quality standards are met. Also, the worker maintains the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse. The noise level in the work environment and manufacturing sites can be high. **Physical Demands:** The employee must have the ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects using arms, back, abdominal muscles, shoulders, legs, or a combination of these muscle groups to a maximum of 50 pounds. **Other Essential Elements Not Listed Above Include:** Reading, writing, basic English communication, basic math skills, Microsoft Office. **Machines/Tools Used:** Forklifts, electric and manual floor jacks, computer systems, and other department specific tools.
