Job summary

Bedrocklandscaping in McKinney, TX seeks a driver/landscape team member. You will safely operate company trucks and trailers, transport crew and materials to job sites, and assist with routine maintenance.

You’ll perform pre- and post-trip inspections, keep equipment secure, follow safety guidelines, and support crew leaders with site setup and breakdown. CDL is preferred but not required; must lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in all weather, and communicate well with the team.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to drive trucks and trailers safely.
• Experience driving in landscaping contexts preferred.
• Must maintain clean, organized vehicles and work areas.
• Strong communication and reliability are essential.

• Safely operate company trucks, trailers, and equipment when assigned as a driver
• Transport crew, tools, and materials to job sites in a timely manner
• Assist with routine landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, and cleanup
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Ensure all equipment is secured properly during transport
• Follow all safety guidelines and traffic laws
• Support crew leaders with job site setup and breakdown
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and work environment
• Step into driver role as needed to maintain workflow and scheduling
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required)
• Experience driving trucks and trailers (landscaping industry preferred)
• Ability to operate basic landscaping equipment
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Team-oriented with good communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Comfortable working in heat, cold, and varying outdoor conditions
