Job summary

Somerset Auto Repair is seeking an experienced automotive technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles with increasing independence. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, in a busy, family-owned shop that emphasizes quality and safety.

We require 3+ years of hands-on experience and your own professional tools. You’ll join a supportive team, benefit from paid training, and have opportunities for growth in a well-organized shop with modern equipment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Automotive Technician experience.
• Own professional tools and toolbox required.
• Solid automotive knowledge and hands-on repair experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair common vehicle concerns.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles with increasing independence.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Assist with more complex diagnostic and repair work as needed.
• Use tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment properly and safely.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members.
• Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship.
