Job summary

Mountain Auto Care in Durango, Colorado is looking for an experienced B-Level Automotive Technician to join our independent shop. This hands-on role covers maintenance, repairs, inspections, and diagnostics, with a clear pathway for skill development and mentorship from senior technicians.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, no nights or weekends, and a salary range of $50,000 to $100,000 per year, paid biweekly, with benefits and paid training.

Qualifications

• Prior hands-on automotive repair experience; this is not an entry-level position.
• Experience performing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and diagnostics appropriate to your skill level.
• Dependable attendance and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and continue developing technical skills.
• Professional communication with coworkers and customers.
• ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics appropriate to your skill level.
• Complete accurate vehicle inspections and clearly document findings.
• Produce quality repair work efficiently while following shop safety procedures.
