Job summary

Honda of Bridgewater is seeking a skilled B-Rate Automotive Technician to join our Service Department in Bridgewater, NJ. You will perform maintenance, inspections, and mid-level repairs on Honda and other vehicles, diagnosing issues and ensuring repairs meet manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience as an automotive technician in a professional setting.
• Ability to perform general repairs and routine diagnostics.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
• Honda dealership experience and Honda training are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive maintenance, inspections, and mid-level mechanical repairs on Honda and other vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair brake, steering, suspension, cooling, electrical, and air-conditioning systems.
• Perform engine performance diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical concerns.
• Complete multi-point inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs.
• Perform repairs accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Document all work performed on repair orders.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and fellow technicians regarding repair findings and vehicle status.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow dealership procedures and manufacturer-recommended repair processes.

Honda of Bridgewater is looking for an experienced, motivated B-Rate Automotive Technician to join our growing Service Department! We're seeking a dependable technician with solid mechanical skills, hands‑on repair experience, and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

• Perform automotive maintenance, inspections, and mid‑level mechanical repairs on Honda and other vehicles.

Qualifications

• Previous professional automotive technician experience required.
• Ability to independently perform general mechanical repairs and routine diagnostics.
• Working knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures.
• Honda dealership experience and Honda factory training are a plus.
• ASE certifications are preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Reliable, team‑oriented, and committed to doing the job right the first time.
