Job summary

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) seeks Experienced General Repair and Modification Technicians for the B-52 team in San Antonio, TX. The role covers installation, repair, and system servicing across multiple aircraft subsystems.

The position requires working with blueprints and data systems, intense reliability, and ability to pass a training assessment. Shift is variable; travel and security clearances apply.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Depot Level/Heavy General maintenance.
• 10+ years of experience with aircraft exterior and interior systems including hydraulics, flight controls, landing gear, fuel systems, and engines.
• Experience reading blueprints, specifications, assembly drawings and SOPs.
• Experience accessing computer aircraft data systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform flight controls installation, removal and rigging, and servicing of aircraft.
• Change outs for servo pumps, filters and engine components.
• Read engineering drawings and retrofit requirements for structural modification/repair.
• Access aircraft data via computer systems and initiate parts/discrepancy requests.
• Maintain certifications, licenses and permits as required.
• Prioritize workload to meet project schedules.
• Ensure safety using Hazardous Energy and Lock Out/Tag systems.
